Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Turkey Lettuce Wraps are low in calories, high in awesome flavor! This recipe is a great calorie and cost alternative to those addictive PF restaurant wraps we all love. And of course the Country Bob’s puts this recipe’s flavor over the top!


  • 3 lb. Ground turkey
  • 1½ cup. chopped onion
  • 6 inches minced fresh ginger
  • 1 cup. Chopped water chestnuts (canned)
  • 1 cup. Slivered almonds
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • ¾ cup Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
  • ¾ cup. Hoisin sauce
  • Fresh basil & cilantro,
  • Chives
  • Romaine Lettuce whole leaves (3 bags)

Sauté the meat.
Drain the fat.
Add onions, ginger, almonds, water chestnuts, seasoning salt and sauces.
Heat until onions are translucent.
Finally, add garlic. Don’t overcook the garlic! Just a couple of minutes is plenty.

Wash and dry your Romaine lettuce leaves.
Mix the sauce ingredients.

Garnish with fresh basil, cilantro & chives.

Make a batch of this healthy homemade turkey wrap filling and keep the leftovers in the fridge for a quick heat-and-serve meal.

A lettuce sandwich is either a sandwich or sandwich wrap with lettuce substituted for the bread, or a sandwich with a filling consisting primarily of lettuce.

To prepare a bread-less lettuce sandwich, roll any filling inside a large leaf of lettuce or place it between two leaves of lettuce.
