4 pounds of Kielbasa (Polish sausage)
2 large sweet onions
Garlic to taste (I used a quart of cloves that I pickled with Cajun seasoning)
2 bottles of Country Bob’s BBQ sauce
Cut your Kielbasa into pieces, I did 3 or 4-inch chunks and put into pan.
We’re tailgating so we used a foil pan for easy clean up.
Cut your onions into wedges; break them up as you add them to the pan.
Add the garlic if you’re going to.
Pour the BBQ sauce over everything and mix.
You are ready for the pellet grill, smoke at 350 degrees (177c) for an hour and a half until the sauce thickens and the onions and garlic get soft.
Serve on a plate or with buns.
Cooking In the Oven:
I tell folks all the time that cooking on a Wood Pellet Grill/Smoker is just as easy as cooking in your oven. Just about anyone can do it and do it well. Think about it. You set your control knob to the temp you want, put your meat in and leave it for a set time. It is the same thing, time and temperature are what it is all about. A pellet grill is just like your oven except it uses wood pellets and has wheels. I do 1.5 hours here at 350 (177c).
