Need a fall appetizer? Try this new BBQ Apple and Mozzarella Bruschetta! Crispy baguette slices are spread with mayo and grilled, then layered with savory prosciutto, creamy mozzarella or burrata, and sweet, charred apple slices coated in Country Bob’s Original BBQ Sauce. Finished with a sprinkle of fresh chives. Serve and enjoy!
Heat a grill to medium high heat. Spread mayo on each baguette slice and grill for about 5-6 minutes until toasted. Remove and set aside.
Cut the apple into slices then coat each slice in Country Bob’s Original BBQ Sauce. Place on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the apples begin to char. Remove apples and coat in more BBQ Sauce and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Build your bruschetta by placing a piece of prosciutto on each baguette slice. Place mozzarella on each baguette followed by BBQ apples and some more mozzarella on top. Garnish with chives and serve!
