Country Bob's freshest new take on seafood is our dynamite BBQ shrimp! For extra spice, try using our Honey Habanero All Purpose Sauce, or substitute for our Original. Garnish with cilantro, flavor it up with our Barbecue Sauce, and serve with rice for a savory meal!
To start, soak skewers in water until ready to use.
Next, heat a small pan to medium low. Toss in the butter. Sauté the chopped Habanero, garlic, and shallot until soft.
Then, add 1 tbsp of the chopped cilantro to the pan and stir. Add the honey, Sriracha, Country Bob's Original Barbecue Sauce, and Country Bob's Honey Habanero All Purpose Sauce. Turn heat to low and let simmer.
From there, toss the shrimp in about a tablespoon of olive oil and Old Bay seasoning until thoroughly coated. Skewer each shrimp (about 5 to a skewer) and set on a baking pan covered in foil or parchment paper.
Once all the shrimp have been skewered and placed, sprinkle a little more seasoning on them with some salt and pepper.
Broil shrimp on high on the middle rack for 4 minutes. Flip and repeat for the other side for another 4 minutes.
Once pink with some slightly burned edges, remove the shrimp and coat in the reserved Barbecue Sauce mixture. Top with cilantro and any additional peppers or toppings you prefer. Squirt some lime juice on the skewers and serve!
