This caramelized onion dip is addictively delicious! Pair it with chips or veggies for your holiday party.
Heat a pan to medium low heat. Add olive oil, onions and garlic. Saute slowly and stir constantly for 30-45 minutes. You want the onions to caramelize vs burn.
Once they’ve reached a decent brown color, add Country Bob’s AP Sauce and stir.
Add chicken stock and stir for another 4-5 minutes. Once most of the liquid has evaporated, turn the heat off.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, a little more AP sauce and salt and pepper. Stir in about ¾ of the caramelized onion. Continue stirring until well blended.
Smooth the top of the dip and add the leftover caramelized onion on top. Garnish with some parsley and serve with chips!
