Firecracker Chicken is the explosively flavorful dish your 4th of July cookout needs! Tender chicken nuggets are pan-fried to perfection, then tossed in a sweet and spicy homemade sauce made with our Chili Lime Wing Sauce, fresh lime, sriracha, and a touch of red chili flakes. Garnished with sesame seeds and green onions, it’s a quick and festive dish that adds a flavorful kick to your holiday spread. Perfect for serving up with friends, family, and fireworks!
In a bowl, coat chicken in cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Heat a pan to medium and melt butter. When butter is melted, add chicken to the pan and lightly fry until cooked through.
About 4 minutes per side. When chicken is cooked, remove from pan and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic cloves and saute for 3 minutes until they are soft.
Once soft add Country Bob’s Chili Lime Wing Sauce, Lime juice, red chili flakes, soy sauce, sriracha and Lime zest.
Lightly simmer until sauce begins to thicken. It shouldn’t take more than 4-5 minutes.
Once sauce has thickened, turn off the heat and add chicken back into the pan.
Stir to coat the chicken in the sauce then garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and it’s ready to serve!
