These crispy shrimp have the right amount of sweet and heat! We dare say they are better than takeout!
Pre-Heat oil in a heavy pot or pan over medium heat. In a small pot melt the butter over medium low heat. Add the hot sauce, honey and sesame oil and bring to a simmer until the sauce thickens. Once it thickens, turn heat as low as it can go and simmer while you fry the shrimp.
In a large bowl mix flour, old bay and Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt. In another bowl beat the eggs with a tbsp of water. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture then dip in the egg mixture, then coat in flour once again.
Fry the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until they become golden brown. Fry in batches so the pan is not over crowded.
Drain the shrimp on a paper towel then add to a bowl with the hot honey sauce. Toss the shrimp with the hot honey sauce until well coated. Sprinkle parsley flakes over the top and enjoy!
