Green Bean Casserole

Green Bean Casserole is a fun and easy recipe. When family reunions happen, this is one dish that we always look forward to enjoying. Plus, no Thanksgiving (or Christmas) is complete without it! Your leftovers can easily be reheated and still taste great (if they last long enough!).

Green Bean Casserole

 6 cans green beans
 ½ lb bacon -fried (reserve fat)
 1 sweet onion – sliced in thin rings
 4oz slivered almonds
Dressing/Sauce Ingredients:
 Bacon fat
 ¼ cup Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
 ¼ cup Vinegar
 ¼ cup Sugar
 1 tsp Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
 Mix until sugar is dissolved
Green Bean Casserole

Fry the bacon. Save the grease.


Layer green beans, onions, crumbled fried bacon and almonds in 9X13 pan.


Mix the sauce/dressing mix in a bowl.


Pour sauce over green beans.


Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
