Southwest meatballs use Country Bob's Original All Purpose Sauce for an extra kick of flavor!
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine Country Bob's Barbecue Sauce, beef, pork, pepper, cilantro, red onion, green onion, jalapeño, garlic, egg, and cheese. Mix the ingredients until well combined. If the mixture is too moist, add breadcrumbs to firm it up.
Form meatballs about the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking sheet with a rack to prevent them from falling apart. Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove meatballs from the oven and set it to broil. In a large bowl, coat meatballs with Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. Place them back on the rack and broil until the sauce begins to caramelize.
Remove from the oven and garnish with diced green onions. Serve hot.
Place parchment paper or aluminum foil under the meatballs to prevent scorching and to make for easy cleanup.
