Try our Country Ka-Bob's Chicken and Veggie Kabobs! These delicious kabobs feature jalapenos, fresno peppers, and red onion combined with chicken and coated in our Seasoning Salt and Original Barbecue Sauce for a spicy savory week night meal.
Soak your skewers in water while preparing the rest of the meal.
Cut chicken thighs into bite sized pieces. About 4 pieces to a thigh.
Slice the jalapenos down the middle, removing the seeds and stem. Cut each jalapeno half into four pieces, about an inch in size. Do the same for the Fresno pepper. Slice the top and bottom off of the red onion, then cut in half. Cut that half into 5-6 blocks. Each block should have several layers of onion.
Place all of your veggies and chicken in a large bowl. Pour olive oil and Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt into a bowl and stir until well coated. Arrange each skewer with chicken, jalapeno, Fresno pepper and red onion.
Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip them over and cook for another 4 minutes on the other side.
Remove the skewers from the grill and generously coat them with Country Bob’s Original BBQ Sauce. Increase the grill temperature by about 100°F, then return the skewers to the grill. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, allowing the BBQ Sauce to caramelize.
Once the skewers are nicely caramelized, remove them from the grill and serve immediately. Enjoy!
