Bacon Wrapped Smokies

This is an easy recipe that is sure to please!  Makes a great appetizer or finger food.

 2 (14oz) Beef Little smokies (We like Hillshire Farms brand)
 1 lb bacon
 1 (18 oz.) bottle of Country Bob’s BBQ Sauce
 12 brown sugar

Start with 2 packages of lil’ smokies

the ingredients needed for bacon wrapped smokies


Cut bacon into thirds for wrapping. (half’s if you REALLY like bacon!)


Use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place.


Brush or just pour on Country Bob’s BBQ Sauce.


Once smokies are covered, dust with brown sugar (about 3/4 pound).
As you can see, we like our brown sugar and sauce!


Next, put it in the oven uncovered. 350 degrees for 40 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before plating.
