Country Bob’s Sweet and Spicy Honey BBQ Sloppy Joes

These aren't your typical cafeteria Sloppy Joes. The jalapenos add the perfect amount of spice, and our barbecue sauce makes it all the sweeter. Make enough for the whole family and wow their taste buds.

Cook the Beef and Veggies
Heat a cast iron pan to medium heat. Brown the beef and drain the grease. Add diced onion, diced jalapeño, and chopped green onions to the pan. Stir together and cook for 4-5 minutes until the veggies soften.

Add Sauce and Seasonings
Add tomato puree and Country Bob’s Sweet Honey BBQ Sauce to the beef, stirring to combine. While stirring, add paprika and cayenne pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef. Turn off the heat.

Assemble and Serve
Toast the buns and add a generous amount of beef to each bun. Top with cheddar cheese and place back in the toaster or oven to melt. Remove and top with jalapeño slices and more Country Bob’s Sweet Honey BBQ Sauce before serving.
