Instructions

  1. Prep and Bake Ribs

Before beginning, peel the membrane off of the back of the ribs. Season ribs with your favorite dry rub and place on a pan. Pour about ¼ cup water into the bottom of the pan and cover with foil. Bake ribs in a 275 degree oven for 2 hours.

  1. Make Sauce

While ribs are cooking, melt butter in a pot over medium and add the apples. Saute for about 2 minutes, then add brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, cinnamon and Country Bob’s Sweet Honey BBQ Sauce. Simmer on medium low for about 15-20 minutes until the apples begin to get soft. Once apples are soft, use an immersion blender to blend into a smooth sauce.

  1. Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and dump out any juices that have collected. Coat ribs in the apple butter bbq sauce and broil in the oven for 6-8 minutes, until the sauce begins to bubble and caramelize. Remove ribs and serve!
