Chorizo and Beef Smash Tacos

Description

It's taco time! Our Chorizo and Beef Smash Tacos are a perfect recipe to make for your next Taco Tuesday. Using our All Purpose Sauce and Seasoning Salt, and combining them with chipotle mayo, creates the tastiest taco. Top 'em off with lettuce, tomato and diced red onion, and serve!

  1. Prepare the Patties

    Combine ground chorizo, ground beef, and Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce in a bowl. Form thin patties on two of the tortilla shells, spreading the beef out so it extends past the shell slightly. Season each with Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Tortillas

    Spread chipotle mayo on the other two tortillas and set aside.

  3. Cook the Patties

    Heat a pan to medium heat. Place olive oil on a hot pan and carefully place beef tortillas meat side down on the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes and flip. Place the Mexican cheese on the beef/chorizo. Once the cheese begins to melt, after about 2-3 minutes, place the mayo tortilla on top and flip the burger once again.

  4. Final Cook and Serve

    Cook for another 2-3 minutes, checking the tortilla to make sure it toasts and does not burn. Remove from the pan and top with lettuce, tomato, diced red onion, and any other toppings you wish then serve!
