Seems like most of the time I see meat loaf as a choice, I pick something else to put on my plate.
I would do anything for the love of meatloaf, but I won’t do that meatloaf without Country Bob’s.
This recipe will have everyone’s face glowing, like metal on the edge of a knife.
Then who knows, when you tell them how great it tastes, maybe they’ll say: “You took the words right out of my mouth!”
- 1½ pounds lean ground beef
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup green bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 12 saltine crackers, crushed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ¾ cup Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Country Bob’s Seasoning Salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a large mixing bowl, combine beef, eggs, cracker crumbs, Seasoning Salt and pepper.
Pour in milk, ½ cup All Purpose Sauce, onion and bell pepper.
Mix well. Shape into a loaf. Place on a baking pan.
Pour or brush remaining ¼ cup All Purpose Sauce on top of meat loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Remove meatloaf and place on a serving plate.
Let stand for several minutes before slicing.
Now pour some more Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce all over that plate!
