
Butterflied Smoked Sausage
Description
Cheese please! This smoky sausage is stuffed with melty ooey gooey cheese and topped with sauteed onions.

CUT and SEASON
Cut sausage to bun length and then slice them down the middle but not all the way through to butterfly them. Sprinkle sausage with Country Bob’s seasoning salt.

GRILL
Grill sausage cut side down first on medium heat grill or flat top griddle and then flip over to brown other side.

SAUTE
Sauté yellow sliced onions in pan on grill or on flat top griddle.

ASSEMBLE
Place cooked sausage in brioche bun and place one half slice of cheese in between bun and sausage. Top with sautéed onions, chopped green onions and your favorite Country Bob’s sauce.
