Description

Shrimp cocktail, also known as Prawn cocktail, is a seafood dish consisting of shelled prawns (shrimp) served in a glass with sauce. It was the most popular hors d’œuvre in Great Britain from the 1960s to the late 1980s. The dish was invented by famous British chef Fanny Cradock. The Shrimp Cocktail Sauce was later perfected by Country Bob’s.

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Chill for 1 hour.

  2. Use as dip for seafood pieces, breaded vegetables, fish, breaded chicken or french fries. Whether it is shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp or my favorite; coconut shrimp, this sauce will make your prawn complete! (Yield: Makes 1 cup.)
